Project Guidance
We can serve in an advisory role to assist you in ensuring that your project remains on track and that your business objectives are met. We excel in this capacity because our Principal Maximo Consultants average 10 to 15 years experience with Maximo each so we've pretty much seen it all. We've even been brought onboard in this capacity to salvage failed or stalled Maximo implementation projects (often after other consulting companies are let go) by providing detailed, creative problem-solving recommendations to get past technical, functional, or business process hurdles.

Maximo Gap Analysis
We've developed a streamlined collaborative process for defining your business requirements, documenting technical and functional Maximo gaps, and identifying and reaching consensus on the optimal gap solution. Maximo Training
We offer Maximo training classes for standard topics like Work Management, Inventory Management, Purchasing, and Maximo System Administration in versions 4.x through 7.x. We usually provide training at your site and you pay for the trainer time so can have any number of students attend for the same price. We also offer customized training where we work with you to tailor the course to align with your business processes and custom Maximo screens so that the student learns your standard operating procedure as well as how to use Maximo.

Maximo Software Installation
Despite what you may have heard, installing a base Maximo installation (application server and database) can usually be done very quickly and inexpensively. For example, we often install a full Maximo 7.1 system in one (1) day via remote connection to the client network. Having a demo instance like this available is a great way for your team to start getting comfortable with the latest version.

Maximo Upgrades
Our consultants have experience upgrading Maximo since 1995 and unlike many companies advertising this service, we've actually performed many upgrades to the latest Maximo 7.x version, from versions 4.1, 5.2, and 6.2. We usually utilize the IBM provided processes and scripts for upgrades to 7.x, but we've also done the upgrade by migrating data directly into 7.1 in certain cases where the upgrade proves problematic or where this is a need/opportunity for significant restructuring and cleaning of legacy Maximo data before moving to the new version. In those cases we have a proven process and automated data restructuring and mapping tools to quickly and safely migrate your Maximo data into a clean, out-of-box Maximo installation.

Maximo Application Configuration
Need to make Maximo behave differently in a certain module or need to add a new functional area to Maximo? You'd be amazed at what is possible through clever out-of-box configurations in the latest versions of Maximo. We can help you with this advanced application configuration and if desired we can also provide knowledge transfer during the project so that your team gains new Maximo configuration skills.

Maximo Customization / Class Extensions
If you need to enhance Maximo or incorporate your business logic into existing or new areas of the system, there's a straightforward and IBM-condoned method for doing that involving adding new program code or extending/expanding existing program code (class files). Over the years we've created many Maximo class extensions, from very small but critical ones that might only be a couple of lines of new logic to full blown new applications. When we build class file extensions for clients, we provide the source code as part of the deliverable and can also offer code walkthrough sessions to aid in knowledge transfer so your support staff gains new skills. Maximo Database Consolidation
