Quickly build or synchronize Sites and Orgs in MAXIMO®
SiteBuilder is designed especially for MAXIMO® version 5.x and 6.x (MXES) to enable you to easily peform complex asset operations such as:
- Move location branches within a site.
- Move location branches to new systems.
- Move location branches to new sites (e.g. to build new sites from your existing site).
- Copy site-specific data from one site to another.
- Copy organization-specific data from one org to another.
When moving a location branch to a different site, SiteBuilder performs multi-level, recursive synchronization updates to also bring all associated data to the new site. For example, data that is related to locations such as work orders, PM's, and equipment as well as data that is related to those associated records is identified and recoded for the target site. SiteBuilder uses a Synchronization Map to define these data update relationships and this mapping can be edited by the MAXIMO administrator.
Other MAXIMO® Software data that is not location-dependent and may be shared across multiple sites/orgs such as Job Plans and Labor records can be copied from one site to another.
